Actually, the limiters on HGV's in the UK are set at 56mph, not 60mph. Also, in the UK the speed limits on single carriageways (A roads and B roads), are 40mph, dual carriageways are 50mph, and 60mph on motorways. Although there is a consultation going on at the moment to increase the single carriageway speed to 50mph.

The regular speed limiter (tick-able) sets the truck's speed limit to ALWAYS the same speed, no matter the road you drive on. It is still strange that i'm unable to find the said string of lines in my savefiles that have been used to save ETSMP2 progress.
You can turn off the truck speed limiter unless you're doing WoT jobs, in which case the limiter is mandatory regardless of game settings. Reply reply Dyl1263
